HBO officially announced to Direction Studios that they would not pick up the Pilot episode's transcript about a post-operated transgender woman named Miranda who teaches in high school while she has to hide her past life in front of everybody.

Direction Studios planned to pick up the transcript to a series last summert but they decided to negotiate with HBO about the plan. HBO put Miranda onto its shelf and told Direction Studios that the channel will think about it.

Unfortunately three days ago HBO officially confirmed in a message to Direction Studios that they would not pick up Miranda's story and make a series of it.

Now, Direction Studios started negotiations about picking up Miranda as a mini-drama series but they do not have further informations about the script yet.
